Mister Loopy

Mister Loopy was my first venture into designing a fully working font. More an experiment in letter shapes and legibility rather than an attempt to create the next Helvetica.

I could have designed something simple for my first font but instead I chose to make it rather complicated with lots of curves and varying line widths!

The font comes in three parts - Regular, Loops and Fill. Using the layers feature in applications such as Illustrator and InDesign, the three parts can be stacked up to create some interesting results.
